"I contacted Renee Neff's office because I had had a negative experience with another State Farm agent (the other agent repeatedly pushed me to purchase a policy I wasn't interested in (a homeowners policy) and wouldn't sell me what I was interested in (an auto policy). I spoke with Jon Neff, who I liked immediately. He seemed to understand my concerns (especially about my negative experience with the other agent's office) and said he would be willing to help me. My initial interactions were good with him; he provided me with quotes, and was very responsive. Then, when I sent him an email saying I was ready to purchase the policy and asked for a final clarification on a specific aspect of coverage on the policy, he ghosted me. I waited about a week for a response, tried following up via email, and when I didn't get a response via email, I called the office and left a voicemail. In that voicemail, I did state that I hoped someone would call me back by the end of the business day since it had been four business days since i had any communication from their office (as you can see from the owner's response to this review, this request was viewed as "confrontational). I called back a few other times during their posted business hours that week, but no one answered the phone, and no one ever responded to my emails or the voicemail I left. I waited two weeks past when John provided me those quotes, hoping that I would hear from him or someone in the office. But I never did. I ended up contacting another State Farm agent, who was able to answer my questions, provide me with the information about the policy that I was seeking, and I had a policy in place within 4.5 hours of contacting the other agent. While I expected that it might take 1-3 days to get a policy in place, I never imagined it would be weeks. And to date (July 3), I've never heard back from anyone at Renee Neff's office since John's last email to me on June 20. This is unprofessional and honestly, inexcusable. If Renee Neff's office wasn't willing to work with me, they should have just told me that instead of ghosting me. Edited to Add: After posting this review, the owner responded and admitted that she chose not to answer my emails or return my voicemail. I still believe that she could have emailed me to tell me this; it should not have taken me calling out their behavior in public to get this professional courtesy. After my initial interactions with Jon Neff (which were positive), I did really want to give my business to this agency, and it's why I reached out more and waited almost two weeks to give them a chance to respond to me. It's beyond disappointing that they were this unprofessional in the end."
